I joined the WDAC team in 2018 after a major career switch, and have loved every minute of it. I first started working with web design as a hobby in 1996, back when the cool thing (if there was one) on the web was having a Geocities website. I've kept doing it as a hobby over the years, but since then, my love of tech and dedication to service also took me to the Navy, where I served as a missile and gun technician, and then to the public policy sector where I worked on legislative issues for several elected officials. So when I decided to change careers, I felt the natural switch was to go back to what I originally loved doing over 20 years ago. The same thing that made those careers so enjoyable is what makes this career enjoyable as well: finding creative and innovative solutions to complex problems. The thrill I get from seeing a project go from literally nothing to complete is what motivates me every day.
On the personal side, I am a husband, father, and a very active member of my church. In my free time, you can find me reading, listening to music, or watching the Chiefs, Royals/Cardinals, Mizzou, or WWE (don't judge).
Shrek or Goliath. I am a fairly large lad, so those nicknames work.

Something no one knows about me
I am a repository of random trivia tidbits, and have even been invited to, and attended, a Jeopardy! audition.
